ReplyDeleteJust got this Golden Baby 10.4K mAh. I have never used a Power Bank before. I was able to test the Power Bank by connecting it to me Redmi 1s Cellphone. It did start getting charged.
I would like to know, how to charge the Power Bank itself completely, fully, before using it for the 1st time. Also, would the Power bank get discharged if not used for a long period of time. If so, what is that time duration? As per the PDF from your link above, it says minimum of 5.5 Hrs. before using it for 1st time.
For now, I have connected the Power Bank to the same Charger, connected to the Power Socket on the wall, that I use to charge my phone with. I'm planning to leave it for next 5-6 hrs. or so. Hope that is fine.
Finally, how much time should the power bank take on average to charge up on daily basis? Also, how frequently would it need to be charged?

ReplyDelete1.You need to charge 5.5 hours for the first time..you can know if the power bank is fully charged by observing all 4 LED lights, they should not be blinking and all of them should be ON.
2.The charging time of the power bank depends on the Adapter current rating and charging cable. A 2.1 amp adapter and good charger cable requires 5.5 hours to fully charge tye power bank from 0% to 100%..
3.Since power bank output is 2.1 A , the discharge time of the power bank is 5.3 hours .with 93% efficiency..
4. During disharge, if only the first Led light starts to blink and all other lights are off , then its time to start charging the power bank. It takes approx 5 hrs to charge power bank to 100% using 2.1 amp adapter from there.
4. Standby time of this product is approx. 2 months.
